EVMS COMMUNITY IMPACT DAY P.B.YOUNG ELEMENTARY Aug 11, 2018
Thank you for taking time to consider a donation to the many worthwhile community agencies that are addressing needs in our community. Historically, EVMS donors have provided support to a wide variety of human needs -- from basic emergency support during a time of crisis (food, clothing, or shelter) to helping our children get a healthy start and being prepared to succeed in school. The building blocks for a good life include education, income and health and these are the focus of the programs and services provided by United Way agencies. One in every five of us living in South Hampton Roads is touched by a service funded through donations to United Way – a true indication of the power of coming together to support the needs of the community in which we live, work, and raise our families.
As in previous years, the EVMS Fund may also be selected as an option. The EVMS Fund supports the pursuit of excellence across the school's education, research and patient care missions. The EVMS Fund is critical to the school's education, research and patient care missions. By supporting scholarships, curriculum enhancements, technology upgrades, research equipment, faculty recruitment, the Strelitz Diabetes Center and other vital needs, the EVMS Fund provides vital tools for more health professionals to receive state-of-the-art education and training so they can have a positive impact on the lives of others.
Founded by the community, EVMS is proud to give back and partner with the United Way. This is an exciting time and we hope that you appreciate the savings in time and support to the environment this “eWay” has created.
